Pantone Color 2014

Each year brings new goals, new movies, new purchases, new families… and new colors. For 2014, Pantone’s color of the year is… Radiant Orchid! It’s a beautiful member of the purple family. With a harmony of fuchsia, purple and pink undertones, it brings a bright and unique hue to this year’s trending color palette. Described as “an invitation to innovation,” it is already appearing in styles by
Gucci and on Michelle Obama. The color will be greatly integrated into fashion, beauty, and interiors
this year. Launching as a Spring color, its ability to mix with chocolate browns and deep greens forecasts its translation into the Fall 2014 color spectrum as well.

Radiant Orchid for Interiors
In the window fashions industry, we are the staples of
interior design and ambassadors of home style and
innovation. We perfect the art of window dressing through
not only inventive lifting systems, but through modern
fabrics and colors. It is important to know how to use new
color for contemporary clients and creative product lines.
Radiant Orchid is both obvious and adaptable. Uplifting and
bold without being overpowering, it reenergizes almost any
color scheme and provides a unifying element for diverse
spaces. It complements olive and deeper hunter greens, and
offers a gorgeous combination when paired with turquoise,
teal and even light yellows. Likewise, the vibrant color livens
up neutrals including gray, beige and taupe.
