The NEW Hunter Douglas Silhouette A Deux
Love the beautiful, sophisticated look of Silhouettes? Need the function of room-darkening? The latest innovation from Hunter Douglas, known as A Deux, brings both together for the perfect combination. This feature, appropriately named A Deux for its dual functioning characteristic, displays your Silhouette window shadings with a second layer of roller shading, which glides in behind to provide room darkening. As easily as the pair complement each other, so does the independent movement that allows you to easily raise the room-darkening shade to enjoy the dynamic view-through of your Silhouette window shades.
Two in One. By sharing a common headrail, the sleek design of these two shadings allows you to enjoy the sheer look of Silhouette without the interruption of the second shade, as it stays rolled completely inside. Release it only a portion of the way down to enjoy half the amount of natural light, still providing ambient glow. This dual function that allows each shade to operate separately is the success of this system. Many clients love the atmosphere set by the soft, filtered light of Silhouettes, but they would also like to have the option of room darkening. Living rooms, family rooms and media rooms are the perfect setting, as entertaining can easily transition from natural light dispersing a glow about the room, to the dark stillness needed for a movie watching experience. Bedrooms will be transformed, as you can sleep soundly with both shades lowered, raising the roller shade in the morning to enjoy the natural light of sunrise as you begin your day.
Operating systems. Silhouette window shadings, while easily operable, are designed to beautifully highlight your view in the lowered position, gaining all the benefits of sheer fabrics. With the Hunter Douglas Silhouette A Deux feature, you will have five options for operating combinations, including EasyRise, LiteRise and PowerRise. Of the options, PowerRise can be mixed so regardless of the lifting system for your Silhouette, you can easily push a button to activate the roller shade.
The sophistication and sheer design of Silhouette window shadings just received a heightened level of styling. With a Hunter Douglas Silhouette A Deux, the beauty of sheers presents to the room, while the back includes a layer of room-darkening shade. Two different shades in one headrail, allowing the back shade to completely roll inside while the Silhouette, with its near invisible vanes, gently filters soft light into your room. Have you ever heard of something so fabulous? Let us help you discover all of the amazing features A Deux can bring to your home.
